What is gestational surrogacy?

By using a Gestational Carrier (GC), doctors can help Intended Parents welcome a baby using their own genetic material.

A Gestational Carrier is a healthy woman who carries a pregnancy and delivers a baby for another family.

Gestational carriers do not contribute any genetic material to the babies as the Intended Parents use their own or can use donated material if needed, such as an egg donor or a sperm donor. The GC can be a family member or friend of the Intended Parents or a carefully selected woman found through a reputable surrogacy agency, such as All Love Surrogacy, who will carry an embryo created with In Vitro Fertilization. Medications are given to the intended mother or egg donor to stimulate the ovaries to produce several eggs at once. A fertility doctor retrieves the mature eggs which are then fertilized with sperm from the intended father or a sperm donor. A healthy embryo is transferred to the Gestational Carrier who then carries the baby to term and delivers the newest member of your family!

Gestational Surrogacy can help singles and couples of all sexual orientations and gender identities achieve the family of their dreams. Heterosexual and lesbian couples can use donor eggs or their own eggs to create the embryo to be carried by their GC. Gay couples are able to have biological children by using an egg donor for the embryo. Gestational Carriers play an invaluable role in the creation of a family for those who face infertility for a variety of reasons, for those who never thought they would be able to their own genetic offspring due to their sexual preference.
